 Getting to & from the Airport

Driving hide 

Belfast International Airport is just a 45 minute drive North West of Belfast city centre. The efficient motorway network means that it is a relatively easy journey.

If travelling from the North – take the M2 Southbound towards Belfast and exit onto the A57 at junction 5. Continue on the A2 for 7 miles, following signs for the airport.

If travelling from the South – take the M2 from Belfast and exit at junction 5 on the 57. Continue for 7 miles until you reach the terminal building.

If travelling from the East – take the M3 motorway off the A2, then join the M2. Take exit 5 on the A57 and continue following the signs for the airport.

If travelling from the West – take the M1 motorway North in the direction of Moira, turn off at Junction 9 towards Antrim and follow the A26 through Nutts Corner to the airport.

Trains hide 

Although there is no direct train link to Belfast Airport, the nearest train station is just 6 miles away in Antrim. Services from Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry stop there after which you can continue by bus or taxi to Belfast International Airport.

Trains to Dublin connect with the fast Enterprise train that departs from Belfast train station.
Buses hide 

Antrim Airlink operate a service during the week to and from Belfast Airport to and from the bus and train stations, connecting to bus services travelling on to Londonderry, Portrush and Coleraine.

The Airbus runs between the airport and Belfast city centre every 30 minutes throughout the week.

AIRporter run buses direct to Derry every couple of hours from the airport terminal.
