It takes just 40 minutes to reach Birmingham by car from Coventry Airport. Get onto the A45 from the airport and take the exit for the M6, merging on to the M6. Keep left for the A38 and follow signs for the city centre.
Stratford upon Avon

Stratford upon Avon is just 30 minutes by car from Coventry Airport. Get on to the A46 from the airport and keep right to head in the direction of Warwick. Take the first exit at the roundabout on to the Stratford Road and follow signs for the town centre.
Known for its stark concrete edifices, Coventry (once a hub of manufacturing from cloth and clocks to cars and bicycles) is trying hard to improve its reputation. With a handful of medieval streets that escaped the bombs of WWII that are well worth exploring, good restaurants, high street shops and a lively nightlife, there is plenty here to redeem it.
It takes just 10 minutes to reach Coventry from the airport. Follow Siskin Drive from the airport and take the exit on to the B4110. Follow this to the A4114, coming off at the A46 to the city centre. Merge onto the ring road and follow signs to the city centre.
On street parking is available in Coventry and is free to park in the bays after 6pm and until 8am the next day with no limit. Monday to Saturday charges: 8am -6pm. 50p for 30 mins, £1 for 1 hour, £2 for 2 hours. There are also many long and short stay car parks to choose from that are not time limited. Sunday charge: 50p (4 hours maximum). Some hotels in Coventry also offer free parking.
