Turn right onto Hüttruper Heide when you leave the airport, then turn left onto Hüttruper Strasse. Turn left again onto the B481, and then turn right onto the L555 to move onto Konigstrasse.

The E37 and E30 allow you to reach Rhein and Osnabruck with ease from the airport, however there are also a number of smaller highways running between the motorways so you can reach towns like Emsdetten and Neuenkirchen. Germany’s highway network is known for being one of the best in the world, so make the most of driving there!
Popular destinations to drive to from Munster Osnabruck Airport
Rheine is a small town to the north of the airport. It’s known for it’s large zoo, and a great handful of German pubs too. It’s also a great place to start for exploring the Rhine region of Germany.
It only takes 30 minutes to reach the city of Rheine in Germany. Turn left onto Huttruper Strasse when you leave the airport, then immediately turn onto the B481. Turn right onto the B65 to reach the centre.
Osnabruck is a historic city on the outskirts of the Teutoburg Forest. It’s easy to find a parking space here as spaces aren’t limited and they’re not expensive.
Osnabruck is 30 minutes away. Head onto the K9 when you leave the airport, then take the first exit at the roundabout onto the B475. Turn right to merge onto the A1 towards Osnabruck. Take exit 70 to get into the city of Osnabruck.
Munster is a small old University city near the Dutch border of the Rhine region in Germany. The Aldstadt and the Harbour are some of the most popular places to visit in this area, thanks to their picturesque architecture. Free parking is available at the park and ride stations outside of the centre, however there are Pay & Display car parks available nearer to the University and around the river.
Exit the airport by driving onto Airportallee, then turn right onto the E37. Take exit 77 to move onto the B54 towards Munster. This road will take you into the centre towards the University.
