Where to hire a car at Ibiza Airport
There are four car hire companies with desks at Ibiza Airport: Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, and Europcar. All of the desks are inside the terminal, so you don’t need to go far to pick up your car.
Petrol stations near Ibiza Airport
Depending on your car rental agreement, you may need to hand your car back with a full tank.
Luckily there is a Carburantes petrol station just 10 minutes drive from Ibiza Airport. Take the Carrer de l’Angel Road out of the airport and continue straight on along the PM-803. Turn right on to Avinguda d’Ignasi where the petrol station will be on your right. The PM-803 links to the E-30 which goes to Sant Antoni de Portmany in the west.
Driving around Ibiza Airport
Ibiza Airport is well connected to the region’s main roads. The PM-804 is the main highway leading out of the airport and to Port de Sant Miquel in the northwest and the islands smaller roads. The PM-804 links to the PM-810 which goes to the north of the island. The PM-803 also runs to the south of Ibiza.

Made famous in the 70s, San Carlos is famous for its Es Canar market where hippies the world over still come to shop. This charming village is all whitewashed houses and friendly locals, rustic restaurants and a laid back vibe. It comes to life with some fabulous festivals throughout the year.
San Carlos is just 30 minutes north of Ibiza Airport. Take the PM-803 and merge onto the C-733 and the PM-810 heading north. Follow signs to San Carlos.
Unforgettable sunsets make San Antonio famous while the blue sea of its harbour glistens with bobbing yachts. Shallow beaches are perfect for families with children while its nightlife is more than a match for any party animal. Surrounded by hills, there are plenty of hikes and panoramic views for the avid walker.
San Antonio is just 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport. Get on to the PM-803 and take the exit for the city centre. Keep left and continue towards the C-731. Follow sings for the PM-812 and follow signs for San Antonio.
While Ibiza may sound like just a small island floating in the Mediterranean, don’t be fooled. Ibiza Town boats a some of the world’s best hotels, clubs and restaurants and a celebrity status to match. While this is a hangout of the superrich and superchic, Ibiza also caters for those with less of a hedonistic streak. Parks, a historic centre, beautiful beaches and hilly walks make up for its night time extravagances.
It takes just 7 minutes to reach Ibiza Town from the airport. Head southeast on the Carrer de l’Angel and continue on to the PM-803 following signs to Ibiza Town.
Parking in Ibiza, much like anywhere else, can be difficult, but now we have a system that frees up a lot of parking spaces during the busiest hours in various shopping zones. Parking in Ibiza Town is pay and display, paid for with coins. Parking fees are imposed from 2pm to 4pm. After 10pm and n Sundays parking is free. There are also privately run car parks. Some hotels in Ibiza also offer free parking.
