Where to hire a car at Paphos Airport
There are four car hire companies with desks at Paphos Airport: Europecar, Sixt, Budget and Astra & Petsas. All of the desks are inside the terminal, so you don’t need to go far to pick up your car.
Petrol stations near Paphos Airport
Depending on your car rental agreement, you may need to hand your car back with a full tank.
Luckily there is am EKO Petrol Station about 7 km from the airport on the B6 highway close to the turning point for Mandria Village.
Driving around Paphos Airport
Paphos Airport is well connected to the region’s main roads. The main A5 road skirts around the south of Cypus linking the airport with Limassol, Larnaca and the A1 which takes a turn north to Nicosia. From Nicosia, the A9 and B9 roads link up with the Troodos Mountain Range while the B7 takes in the northern coast of Cyprus.

It takes just 15 minutes to reach Mandria from Paphos Airport. Head west out of the airport to get onto the B6 road. Follow this road until you see the turn off for Mandria.
Limassol’s charm lies in its characterful old town. Its winding narrow streets lined with shuttered houses, rambling markets, high end boutiques, cosy local cafes and bustling restaurants. With a flamboyant marina, important historic monuments and a backdrop of the majestic Troodos Mountains don’t miss Limassol.
It takes approximately 50 minutes to reach Limassol by car from Paphos Airport. Take the A6 tunnel from the airport taking the exit for the E110 towards Limassol. Keep following the signs for the city centre.
Paphos is the historical jewel in Cyprus’ crown. Believed to be the birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite, it is no wonder Paphos is a UNESCO world heritage site. Marvel at the extraordinary the remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs from the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods. There are great activities for kids here too from water parks and karting to diving and a fabulous zoo.
Paphos city centre is less than 20 minutes by car from Paphos Airport. head west from the airport onto the B6 where you can follow the signs all the way to Paphos centre. There is plenty of parking to be found in Paphos which from 20 to 50 cents* per half a day, it is also incredibly cheap. There are municipal parking areas in the Old Town just below and beyond the market area with charges starting from 20 cents per hour. Parking metres are used between 9am and 6pm on weekdays. Parking metres do not operate on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and Public Holidays. In Kato Paphos the municipal parking area near the harbour is free. Some hotels in Paphos also offer free parking.
