April – May: Spring is warm but breezy with cool evenings. By May, the water heats up enough for a dip.

June – August: Balmy temperatures and cloudless, blue skies attract tourists to the island in the summer. July and August can be a bit muggy, with highs around 30°C.

September – October: Mykonos stays mild throughout October, with the water still warm enough for swimming. Rain arrives towards the end of this short shoulder season.

To get around Mykonos, use the KTEL bus network. Tickets are available from the driver or at stations like Fabrika and Old Port. In the summer, water taxis connect beaches from Ornos to Elia.
