This low-key beach town is considered the whale-watching capital of Australia and the gateway to Fraser Island. If you have extra time before or after either activity, go the surprisingly quiet beaches.
Stayed here just for one night. Loved what we saw, which wasn't much :) nothing much unless you are using it as a transit point for any GBR Islands
Live right near it. Great beaches, food, fishing & best of all only a stones throw away from Fraser Island. Even a better destination to visit. We also have great WHALE watching :)
