A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel «Ausspann Hotel Restaurant» is located in Hamburg. This hotel is located in 13 km from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Hamburg-Schnelsen Exhibition Centre, Tierpark Hagenbeck and Planten un Blomen..You can stop by the bar. Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. Accessible for guests with disabilities: the elevator helps them to go to the highest floors.

Business trip to Ellerbek

Close to one of our Factories in Germany, I was recommended to stay at this nice place. It appears family driven, has an affordable price range for the rooms, and very friendly staff. Especially the breakfast is like having it at home, only better :-)
The hotel is situated directly at the "Bundesstrasse 4", and that is great for us who want to fill the time after work with something interesting. Following the "4" further north, you get to a couple of smaller towns with typical Holsteiner scenery. Going south on the "4", you find interesting sites in Hamburg quite easily, like Planten und Blomen, which is a nice botanical garden, or the Galery, where you ca have a stroll through 600 years of art

Feeling at home

typical "Landhaus hotel" offers genuine fammily hospitalty. Warm interior, hospital and supporting personel, quiet and comfortable rooms. Restaurant is above expectation with wide range of world wines and spirits with excellent support of the boss. Food is local and extremely tasty with wide variety to choose from. Very enjoyable!

A very nice find

My husband bumped into this hotel by chance and he liked it instantly. The location is out of Hamburg town but we could get to center of town easily by public transport in some 40 minutes. A train station is 5 minutes walk away. The hotel interior was nice and lovingly decorated. Breakfast was sumptuous the good German style - good bread, plenty of cold-cuts. Serviced are good. Rooms were spotlessly clean. My bed was comfortable but my husband did not find his comfortable a though the mattresses were new. There was no wifi in the room but downstairs at the lobby and the connection was very fast. I like it very much and can recommend it to any one who prefers to stay in a quiet and charming surrounding and does not mind to be away from town.

Beautiful hotel at a great price

Our family of 4 had been staying in Hamburg in a private apartment for three and a half weeks, which we had to vacate on the last night, so we were looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a hotel in the same area.
We had been to a birthday party in one of the function rooms at Hotel Ausspann when we first arrived in Germany, and the food and service was exceptional, so when we enquired about a room here, we were pleasantly suprised to find that it was only 100 Euros including breakfast. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. We needed an early check in, but the family room was not available, so we were given 2 very private, interconnecting upstairs rooms with fantastic views of the beautiful gardens, a massive bathroom and lovely fresh white linen.
We also had another fabulous meal in the hotel restaurant with the family before we left Hamburg, and followed it up with an amazing breakfast the following morning.
This was the best night sleep we had on our 6 week holiday. Highly recommend it!

Worth staying for the breakfast

Stayed for one night, and everything was fine. This is not an expensive hotel, but provides everything you would expect at this level. Car park at rear, plenty of room. Rooms are small and basic, when you book a single room you get a single bed. If travelling with a family, you will get your moneys worth at breakfast. A very impressive range of breakfasts, definitely something to suit everyone and well stocked. No queuing or waiting for things to be replaced even though the breakfast room was quite busy. Would stay here again, on business or family trip.
