Vacation in June 2026 as a couple
3-star hotel according to Greek categories, but in a good location and with excellent staff. It is worth noting that following the flight to Bologna in the late afternoon, they allowed us to keep the room for as long as we needed. Thank you.

Very disappointing experience at Seven Stars Hotel in Karpathos.
We had booked a Triple Room, but upon arrival we were assigned a ground-floor Studio with no windows, in a space that looked more like a converted garage. The only opening was a large sliding door, which had to remain fully open just to get some ventilation, creating obvious privacy and security concerns.
We immediately complained to reception, but we were told that the Studio was actually an “upgrade”, although we had never requested or agreed to any upgrade. No alternative room was initially offered.
What disappointed us most was the unprofessional attitude of the reception staff. Our concerns were repeatedly downplayed and, even after explaining that the room was particularly unsuitable for us for medical reasons, the only solution offered was a fan.
The problem was finally resolved only thanks to the intervention of the local Eden Viaggi representative, who took our complaint seriously and helped us obtain a different room. Unfortunately, we still had to spend the first two nights in the original accommodation.
Even the replacement room we were eventually given was, in our opinion, of a rather low standard. Although presented as suitable for three guests, it felt much closer to a basic double room with an additional bed, with very limited space and a particularly small bathroom.
The hotel itself may have better rooms available, but our experience with both the accommodation initially assigned and the way our complaint was handled was extremely disappointing.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Studio very very disappointing
Studio (studio) terrible, dirty, smelly drains in the bathroom, old kitchenette, encrusted, I risked infections, found 2 cockroaches, pillowcases found yellow and used (I immediately informed reception and agent Eden Travel of everything). Since it was impossible to use the kitchenette (not only dirty but also not equipped and the few cutlery and dishes were encrusted with centuries-old clique) I requested the free breakfast and they kindly granted it to me from the third day of the 2 weeks of stay.
Refrigerator very noisy and did not cool water.
Towels changed only once in 2 weeks (I had paid as a double single use but after 2/3 days they took back a pair of towels leaving me only one couple saying that cause full hotel did not have enough. One day I tried to leave the shower towel on the floor in the bathroom but they picked it up and put it back on the towel rail.
In addition, the rags with which they "washed" floors and sanitary ware were smelly and never changed or washed them.

Strengths: location and the staff!!
The structure is in an excellent location, in a quiet and very breezy area, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Pigadia (you can choose between a road or a staircase - downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back :-) which takes you to the main street in less than 7 minutes). The hotel staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming, willing to meet all requests (in our case, they changed our room without any problems). Initially, we had one with a kitchenette, but it was really very old and had a bit of a musty smell. They changed it for us with a better-maintained standard room, much more spacious). The common areas of the structure are spacious and well-kept, the pool and the sea-view terrace are excellent. The rooms are a bit outdated and would require renovation, especially the bathrooms. Standard breakfast for a hotel of the same star rating. If you are not overly demanding travelers, more focused on the economic aspect than the formal one, I would recommend it.

The worst that exists in Karpathos. Horrible attitude, bad service, zero amenities and overpriced for what it offers.
As soon as we walked in we thought we had come to hell, so hot in all the corridors. Towels and sheets must be owned. Food on the verge of food poisoning.
The only positive thing is that it is next to the best club on the island.
