Onsen Lodge Watari: 1.Savor local flavors in Nagawa (奈川), Matsumoto (松本), Shinshu (信州) or Nagano (長野), the hometown of soba: 1.1) Nagawa, Matsumoto, located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, is a land where soba has been the staple food rather than rice since ancient times. 1.2) For dinner, we offer local cuisine made with local seasonal ingredients, as well as traditional soba dishes. 2. Warm and relaxing Japanese hot springs (Onsen) where you can feel the changing seasons: 2.1) Enjoy the hot spring water at our hotel's Shibusawa Onsen (渋沢温泉), a simple alkaline hot spring that is soft to the touch, colorless and odorless, and has a beautifying effect on the skin. 2.2) In the open-air bath surrounded by lush trees, you can feel the seasonal breeze on your skin, and enjoy the gentle flow of time in nature. 3. Ideal base for sightseeing around Kamikochi (上高地) and other areas, and a base for enjoying an extraordinary experience: 3.1) A perfect mountain cottage for a refreshing trip, surrounded by white birch trees in an area rich in nature and forgetting the hustle and bustle of the city. 3.2) A Japanese-style room (Tatami mat) where you can enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and working remotely. 3.3) Nagawa Plateau (奈川高原) is rich in nature and cool with a city temperature of minus 10 degrees. At an altitude of 1,400 meters, it is a forest mountain hut that is an excellent place to escape the summer heat. 3.4) Our cottage is conveniently located within an hour from Matsumoto (松本), Kamikochi (上高地), and Norikura (乗鞍), making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Nagano (長野). 3.5) Conveniently located at an altitude of 2,130m with panoramic views of the Northern Alps such as Mt. Norikura (乗鞍) and the Hotaka Mountain Range (穂高連峰), and Mt. Ontake (御嶽山) (about 5 minutes by car), one of the best ski resorts in Japan, Nogi Pass Ski Resort (野麦峠スキー場).
