Very pleasant stay.
We highly recommend Business Inn when visiting in Bacolod.
It’s right in the center of the city - absolutely no problem in getting taxis or Grab.
The pleasant experience starts the moment you step off your ride: you are immediately met by their thoroughly amiable Guard who helps you with your bags.
From the gracious Joy Montano of Front Desk to the bellhop, to the waiters, to the guards, to Maintenance - everyone is eager to help., and service is fast.
Hot shower is my favorite- I couldn’t seem to get enough of it. Generators instantly kick in. Hotel wi-fi is strong. They have fresh towels / room makeup everyday if you will allow them to. They allow extra pillows- I had a total of five! And the sheets, the towels, the pillow cases - they’re all fresh. You even have two kinds of bidets: the usual manual and the pleasant surprise: an automatic bidet!
The first thing my wife did when we entered the room was to run her finger over all surfaces- not even a faint trace of dust was detected. And the mirrors, and the glass partition in the bathroom were immaculate.
We hope to be back again to our Room 105 in April 2026 veryGod willing.

Highly recommended.
My wife was content with the hotel we stayed in during our last visit to Bacolod in December 2023, but my daughter said for us to try Business Inn because of 7/11, across the street; an ATM; it's right smack on a major street where Grab cars
( works like a taxi, but invariably new 5-seater and 7-seater cars); there's parking ( in case we opt to rent a car (P1,200 24 hours 200 km max). And, it's a short walking distance to St Sebastian Cathedral.
We tried to anticipate everything.
Business Inn exceeded our expectations, even my wife's who asked to see the room before we paid for the entire four-day stay.
My wife used to work as supervisor in a pricey hotel, and knows how and what to check for- bidet, duvet, the linen, water pressure, the floor, the drawers, the mirrors. She even ran a finger on surfaces to check for dust. Dust-free everything.
The staff was thoroughly professional and solicitous to our needs- from the front desk personnel, to the waiters, to the door guard! ( He not only opened the door with a smile, but greeted us, opened Grab car doors for us, and even had an umbrella ready for us!)
The service was quick and professional - the extra bed we requested was set up in a few minutes.
The floor throughout the hotel was shiny clean!
The breakfast was good.
The aircon works perfectly.
I'd recommend Business Inn to anyone.
It's not a new hotel, but, for the price, it's an excellent choice.

Unacceptable hygiene conditions of Bacolod Business Inn
As a paying guest, I expected a certain level of cleanliness and hygiene, which unfortunately was not met.
Upon entering the room, I noticed several hairs along with smudges of makeup on the bedding. It was immediately evident that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, if at all, before my arrival. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable and made me feel highly uncomfortable and disappointed.
I immediately reported the matter to the front desk lady and they sent someone to replace the bedding and pillowcases. I also requested to be transferred to a different room and I even showed her the photos (cobwebs, clumps of hair, accumulated dirt, etc) of the room for her to understand my frustration but she reasoned out that the hotel is fully booked and there were no other rooms available for me to transfer to. She then told me "feedback-kan lang namon sir ang housekeeping (We'll just provide your feedback to the housekeeping department)". I left the hotel to attend a meeting and when I arrived back in the hotel room, it was exactly in the same state as when I left.
I completely understand that the hotel is already aged but poor hygiene is never and will never be an excuse.

As a result of my experience, I have no choice but to report this incident to the city health office. It is unacceptable that a hotel could allow such poor hygiene conditions to exist, and I believe that it is necessary for the appropriate authorities to investigate any possible violation of the sanitation code of the Philippines.
The health and well-being of your guests should be a top priority, and it is unacceptable that these basic standards were not met by your hotel.
