Mossel Bay is typically the start of most people's journey along the Garden Route and is a good introduction into the area. It's here where you will first experience the beautiful beaches that this coastline has to offer, setting you up nicely for what lies in stall. The town is a popular holiday destination for families from Cape Town, with its calmer waters and numerous outdoor activities available. However, the town isn't as spectacular as other stops further along the coast and perhaps lacks the character that some of the other destinations offer.

Another small city along Garden Route. Abt an hour away from Oudsthoorn (the ostrich town). Mossel Bay is a town by the beach.

A nice little city on the Garden Route with fantastic weather year round and an abundance of wildlife nearby. A great opportunity to dive with Great White Sharks and go whale watching in June and July. Banks tend to close early but that's ok because everything is usually rather affordable (especially the bars).
