Read bad reviews on this hotel however we had a great experience and would go back. Rooms on higher floors are nicer with lovely Seaview. Would not like to stay on lower floors. Location is perfect staff are great. Paper cups at poolside for safety however if you took your own plastic glass they fill it no problem. Food could have been a little hotter but microwave there so no problem. And yes you pay for remotes but get refunded. 2 Euros a day for unbrellas. Overall for what we paid no complaints

Dear C2833IXteresa,
Thank you for taking the time to make such a positive review. We are very happy that you had such a great experience and look forward to your next visit.
We will pass on your kind words to all of our staff, who work tirelessly to making our guests feel as welcome as possible.
In regards to our location, we are indeed in the heart of San Eugenio. We are close to all local services and ammenities, and also a short walk away from the beach promenade. There is also a free transfer to both the Siam Park and the Siam Mall that leaves from the entrance of the hotel and local markets are just a short taxi drive away.
It is true that we use paper cups adhering to environmental protocols and for the safety of our guests, and it is standard practice for many 3* hotels in the are to offer certain equipment with small deposits that are fully refundable.
It was our absolute pleasure having you with us and we hope to see you again soon.
Kind regards,
The Reception Team

A couple of pensioners view of our stay

Ideal location close to plenty of shops and night life,10mins walk downhill to porta colon, a bit hilly on the return journey but only a few euros for a taxi from the front.
Hotel very clean and ALL staff very friendly and willing to help if needed, room 508 on 1st floor up from reception was good size and big comfy bed(2seperate mattresses) slept well as room was also fairly quiet from outside noise, air con and TV in the room but you had to hire the remotes to operate them( being a careful Yorkshireman there is a workaround )
Full board is the usual fair not brilliant but not bad, potatoes were lovely though no matter how they were prepared, the meat on offer looked good but unfortunately it always seemed to be cooked too quick and was a bit tough to chew ( might have helped if I had all my teeth)found it was recycled later meals into stews etc very tasty and now tender, sweets are let's just say "sweet"
Pool area was both relaxing and clean and tidy( the pool man did an excellent job here and played some good tunes for us)
Downside is you have to hire things like remotes, mattresses for sun loungers and umbrellas ( might only be a few euros each but 2 of us for 10 days soon adds up, WiFi also had to be paid for but in my room 508 and reception /pool areas connection was fine but others said the lower levels very poor but staff did inform me there were problems, all in all me and my wife (both pensioners with a young outlook)loved the place and will certainly be looking at returning later in the year or certainly in 2027

Dear phillipbL3647OG,
We are thrilled to hear that you had a lovely stay and that you are already thinking about returning to visit. All our staff work tirelessly at maintaining a clean, friendly environment, there is nothing more important to us than giving our guests the best possible experience.
We are ideally located in the heart of San Eugenio, as you mentioned there are plenty of shops, nightlife and we are a short walk from Puerto Colon. The free transfer to both the Siam Park and Siam Mall leaves directly from in front of the hotel. There are also lots of local buses that you can comfortably take into the resort of Las Americas and Los Cristianos and to the weekly markets. Everything is on our doorstep.
It is standard practice for most 3* hotels to ask for deposits for items such as TV rand AC remotes and kettles. We do rent kettles out, however, we do provide 24hr coffee and tea facilities at two different points in the hotel.
We would like to thank you for your positive review and have taken all of your comments onboard in order to continue working hard at keeping high standards of practice at the Villa de Adeje Beach Hotel.
Kind regards,
The Reception Team

Great holiday

We come here in June. me, my husband and 2 small children (aged 1 and 2) . We arrived quite late so the bar was nearly closing when we arrived. This wasnt a issue as they was loads of shops still open over the road to grap something to eat and for drinks.
The room was basic but was clean and had everything needed for our stay. We did have to pay to get the tv remote but we got that back.
The food was again basic and a bit mish matched but the food we did eat was nice. For the price it was good!
The location was great! Not far from the beach(although with a double pushchair it was a bit grooling up the hill back from the beach) but loads of shops and bars ect just over the road and down the street so everything you need on the door step, I did expect this to effect the noise levels at night but couldnt hear any noise at all.
The staff was all lovely and accommodating.
The pools was clean amd safe with a lifeguard at all times.
Only thing annoying was the 2 euro u have to spend every day for a sun umbrella ⛱️
The only other thing negative I can say is that there are no ramps for pushchairs or wheelchairs but it did have a wheelchair lift you can use but had to find someone to operate it so that was a bit annoying but we managed ok. There was nothing realy to entertain the kids (shows at night ect) but we wernt bothered to much by this as the kids are still realy young.
We always found a sunbed but as per there was them sun bed hogs going out at the crack of dawn to put towels out to reserve them and not even sit on them best part if the day but you get this everywere.
If you do go here id recommend buying a decent size cup for the bar as the cups they give you are paper and after 1 sip and your back at the bar .
We had a great time! We would definitely return to the area but would look for something with a bit more for the kids(pool with fountains ect) and evening entertainment for them but can not fault the hotel.
You get what you pay for.

Never again

Well, what can I say…this is the worse three star hotel we have ever stayed in. When we walked into the restaurant we walked straight back out and never returned. The food looked old and like everyone had picked over it, plus nothing to even look appetising to eat. The tables were dirty and had food between the gaps which clearly showed they had not been cleaned properly. The rooms were ok and no sign of bed bugs, like in previous comments and reviews. The pools were small and the grass around them was questionable to say the least. The drinks at the all inclusive were poor and served in paper cups which is a joke, so top tip, take your own plastic cups with you. I have just had to take a week off work from getting back from here as I caught impetigo which I think was drinking out of dirty glasses at the hotel or the towels. Good luck if you visit here!

DearM893SZkellyw,
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your stay.
While we respect that every guest is entitled to their personal opinion, we would like to clarify several points.
Food quality and safety are matters that we take extremely seriously. All meals served in our restaurant are prepared using fresh produce and are subject to strict food safety and hygiene procedures. The suggestion that food is "old" does not reflect our operational standards or practices. Our culinary team works hard every day to provide a varied buffet selection that caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
We are pleased to read that you found your room satisfactory. Our hotel follows rigorous cleaning, sanitation, and pest-control protocols, which are regularly monitored to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of our guests.
Regarding our facilities, the hotel offers two swimming pools: one dedicated adult pool and one family-friendly pool for children and families to enjoy. These facilities are maintained daily by our maintenance and cleaning teams.
With respect to beverages, we serve drinks in recyclable paper cups in certain areas of the hotel as part of our commitment to reducing plastic waste and promoting environmentally responsible practices. This initiative forms part of our ongoing efforts to operate more sustainably while maintaining service standards.
We would also like to address the comments regarding impetigo. While we are sorry to hear that you experienced a health issue following your holiday, it is not possible to determine the source of such a condition without medical investigation. We have received no reports from other guests relating to similar concerns during the same period. Furthermore, all glassware, towels, and hotel facilities are cleaned and sanitised according to strict hygiene procedures.
We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable holiday experience for all our guests and appreciate the opportunity to clarify these points.
Kind regards,
The Reception Desk
