Heavily bombed during the Second World War, the centre of the city is mostly concrete but there are some nice neighbourhoods. Warwick University nearby is fast becoming a world class institution.
The shopping centre is a bit of a concrete jungle, but there are plenty of shops to choose from and there are also plenty of attractions to visit, like lots of museums. It's also really interesting to see how much of Lady Godiva plays a significant part in the city's history.
We visited the football stadium, Ricoh Arena, for the Olympic Women's tournament. Go Canada!!
I spent 1.5 years there studying. The city is small and relatively quite. You can say it boring but I like it
