Well worth a visit. The barbican is full of pubs and restaurants. There is also a great shopping centre if you feel like some retail therapy.

The biggest city in the region with a long naval history. A large shopping centre and plenty of places for entertainment for all the family.

The city in south west Devon is influenced heavily by its significance as a port and barracks for the Royal Navy. Plymouth is at the mouths of two rivers, the Plym and the Tamar, where they enter the sea into the Plymouth Sound. Plymouth has a large harbour and is on the Cornish border. You can drive up to the western side of Plymouth and look out over the harbour to see naval ships.

PLYMOUTH is a maritime city across the River Tamar via the Torpoint ferry or Tamar Bridge. There is plenty to see and do, including the National Marine Aquarium, large shopping centres and the historic Barbican Quay and Royal William Yard. The Theatre Royal brings new productions to Plymouth in the autumn and winter months.
