Unacceptable for a 5-star: major lack of cleanliness and maintenance

We stayed as a family in a parental suite at the 2H Oran hotel (109 rue Larbi Ben M'hidi). While the general setting and the reception staff are decent, the overall experience is very far from the advertised 5 stars. This establishment deserves at best 3 to 4 stars, and that is on the condition of making major efforts.
Disappointing cleanliness and hygiene:
Room: The carpet had not been vacuumed upon our arrival.
Living room: Unbelievable presence of food scraps.
Bathroom: Water leaks were noted, numerous traces of limescale were visible on the faucets, and there was not even a corner or a hook to hang one's clothes to take a shower.
Lack of maintenance and environment:
Damage: An obvious lack of upkeep and maintenance of the facilities, including wallpaper stained with paint on the walls.
Exterior view: The suite's windows overlook unpleasant views of construction sites and buildings.
The positives:
The welcome, the politeness of the staff, and the general setting, which has potential.
Call to management:
I strongly urge the manager of this hotel to review the cleanliness management, ensure real maintenance follow-up, and upgrade its facilities. You cannot claim a 5-star standard with so many shortcomings.

In this hotel, there is a big problem in confirming the reservation and receiving the room. Although all the reservation procedures on my part were normal and the payment was made and confirmed, but the receptionist refused to confirm the reservation. She said that what she had was a reservation from another company in my name (Booking) and that I did not pay and that she replied to them that there were no rooms. If I had not called the number on the hotel.com page, I would not have received the room. Many thanks to the person who answered the phone and solved the problem. As for the receptionist, she should check what she is doing and differentiate between the types of reservations. Otherwise, the matter was normal.

Horrible gross no professionalism

Hotel not 5 stars but 5 asterisks
gross it stinks of rooms not cleaning cockroaches in the bathroom the breakfast is horrible with the smells of sewers the staff is just not at all professional they take you up close to slapping them
Check in a 15h ok we had the room at 17h c not serious
I don't recommend it to everyone.

Good.

Very comfortable and well located. Some renovations to do, but otherwise the pool on the 13th floor was beautiful. I recommend. The staff was also friendly and attentive. We had a great time. The view however remained to desired as it does not quite overlook the sea
