Romantic hotels in Paris

Gentle accordion music, peaceful pavement cafés, and all the pastel-hued macarons you can eat: welcome to Paris. The city of love has been one of the world's most visited cities for generations, and is undoubtedly one of Europe's most romantic destinations. Iconic sights like Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Louvré draw visitors from all over the world. Paris hotel deals are always in high demand, so we recommend searching for your room as soon as you've booked your flights.

Where to stay in Paris

Paris hotels in Arrondisement 7 are bang smack in the heart of the action, on the left bank (Rive Gauche) of the Seine. 7th Arrondisement hotels are within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Musée D'Orsay and the Hôtel des Invalides – Napoleon's final resting place. If you're looking for 5 star luxury hotels in Paris, set your map over the Champs-Elysées. This famous boulevard doesn't just play host to some of the world's top fashion labels, it's also home to Paris' most swish and swanky hotels. Paris hotels in Marais are also popular, as this offbeat neighbourhood is home to wonderful art galleries, small museums and vintage boutiques.

Hotels near Paris

If you're hopping over for a quick business meeting, it's worth booking a Paris airport hotel. You can easily get into the city centre from Charles de Gaulle and Orly airport, but you'll be able to roll out of bed and into the security queue if you're booked onto an early flight home. Another popular destination near Paris is Eurodisney. Eurodisney hotels range from whimsical on-site themed accommodation, but there are other (non-affiliated) options nearby. These include 5 star hotel chains as well as quaint Parisian B&Bs.

What to expect from Paris hotels

The unique architecture of the city mean it's not too hard to find Paris hotels with balconies. Even better are Paris hotels with a view – nothing beats sipping a glass of bubbly on your private terrace with the Eiffel tower in the background. It's not all romantic boutique hotels, either. There are plenty of Paris hotels for families with all the amenities you need to keep kids happy during your trip. It's easy to find them, just use our filters.

Well-connected Paris hotels

Paris is a big city, so it's a good idea to geek-up on the public transport system before your 'plane touches down. The Métro subway system is an easy way to get around, and you can buy tickets singly or in a book so you've always got one handy for your trip. There's also an overground railway (RER) which costs the same as the Métro if you're travelling within the city limits, and a bus system which also uses the same Métro tickets. Hiring a bicycle and cycling by the Seine is another must do.

Search for affordable Paris hotels and have more Euro to spend enjoying every minute of your Paris city break.

Everyone says you’ll get the Paris blues because it won’t live up to the expectation but I thought it was amazing from the ease of the transport to iconic views everywhere you look
