Wrongly charged.

Stayed overnight with the bill being picked up by Virgin Australia due to my flight to Perth being cancelled. I then find my credit card has being debited by$440.08. Called the hotel ,spoke to kira who promised to speak to the manager and call me back.4 days later I am still waiting.! ! Called the hotel today, explained everything again , eventually informed my refund would take 7to 10 days, outrageous, not the treatment I expect from a 5 star hotel.

A great conference venue

We had 4 nights here because this was where our conference was. The hotel was well located, just a block from the centre of town with a handy supermarket right across the road. There are lot of restaurants out the main door, turn left and left.
The hotel is pretty standard for its type, room was clean, bathroom a good size (please supply a toilet brush) and service good. Only one weird thing. I was leaving the room in the middle of the day and just grabbed what I thought was my room card. I did think, hmm, I though the card was black and this one was white but though nothing more of it. Then it didn't work in the lift (I was travelling to the conference floor.)
So, I went to reception and they rekeyed it but they did seem a bit surprised and looked at it oddly. The next day when we realised we had three keys for the room, two standard and one different, we realised that the odd one must have been a key left behind by a cleaner.
Hotel did a good job for the conference too - food and venue good except please fix the coffee stations - they need to have a logical flow - ie cup first, then hot water then milk so people don't go backwards and wreck the flow. The coffee stations were very badly sited for good people flow

Adelaide

Pullman was excellent and the lounge was quite to enable work to be done. Breakfast downstairs was great. Need to be quick when ordering your eggs. Bar at ground floor was pleasant and good place to meet friends before moving on. Close to public transport, especially if you are going the races. Will be very handy for the V8 supercars in November.

Great location

Lovely attentive staff. Great location. Clean beds, good daily cleaning service. Bathrooms are looking a little tired and require some deep cleaning and maintenance. A strong toilet smell was present, obviously a plumbing/airflow problem in the building.
