Fantastic location

This was our second trip close to beach SLSC club cafe and resturants.

No so clean

We have stayed at the Caprice a few times before and have always found it to be nice, clean and tidy.
This time we were disappointed.
While everything was generally clean, we did notice that a spare bed in the second bedroom had stained linen. Not a great experience and had us questioning the cleanliness of everything we used.
We'll like twice before booking the Caprice again.

Great location, but…

A great location and an amazing view will only get you so far! Our room (79) and its furnishings are in desperate need of a refresh - everything looks old and tired:
- the shower was falling apart, with one door panel falling off whilst trying to exit the shower,
- Furniture is in a poor state (dining chairs in particular)
- Ceiling finish is flaking, with large areas coming away
- the bed and pillows are long overdue for replacement.
At $460 a night I expect better - in the end we sacrificed the last night of our stay and headed elsewhere!

Room was very dated and way over priced. Property is in the process of some exterior renovations so I would avoid staying here until these are completed. August 2026.

Possibly the best in Coolum.

Best location, magnificent room, very clean and well appointed.
Surf club diagonally across the road, superb.
