Wonderful place to unwind

Lovely little cottage overlooking paddock with alpacas. You can help feed them in the afternoon. Wonderful hosts that had left some baked lovely treats on our arrival. Great location to explore Mount field national Park.
BBQ on the balcony was really appreciated.
Note: top up on fuel and groceries at New Norfolk before heading out. No fuel or supermarket in town.

Maydena’s little secret

Fabulous accomodation. Very quiet, comfortable and well presented cabin (The Rose). Jo (owner) and the alpacas met us on arrival and made us feel at home. Everything you want after a long day travelling. Wish we could have stayed longer. A must if visiting Maydena.

Amazing views and alpacas too.

Such a comfortable cabin. Lovely and cosy.
Christine and Mike (new owners) were so hospitable and understanding when we had travel issues due to the Middle East crisis.
A really warm welcome and so quiet. Will definitely revisit on our next trip to Tasmania.

Lovely views

A little group of four, in two cabins.
Everything was very good, clean and comfortable.
We loved the morning greeting from the Alpacas .
We ate at Maydena Eats nearby and enjoyed talking to the bikies.

Mountain cabin

Lovely clean cabins. Easy to find. The bed was so comfortable! Lovely host and very informative about the alpacas. They are very quiet and I walked around with them. Amazing mountain views. I could even see some snow on top of one of the mountains.
