Nice appartment, good facilities and great location

Pools were great Great location in surfers and quite reasonable rates for the apartment we rented. Room was quiet, well appointed and had aircon. Good views towards the river and the hinterland on the side we were on.

Best appartment in the city

Best and biggest love these great to rent or buy and includes tennis court and indoor and outdoor pool heated and not
Sun chairs. Loved it so much I now love here

Chillin in Surfers

Thornton Towers may be 20 plus years old. However is located on the Southern end of Surfers Paradise 2 blocks from Beach just off the GC Highway right beside the Light Rail, it is an affordable stay with very Large rooms in a first class condition. the grounds are well cared for, just finishing off Pool and BBQ Reno Oct 2016. Friendly faces . Nice place to enjoy Sauna,Spa and Pool after a big day out.

Good facilities, poor management

I stayed here from Dec 30 2012 - Jan3 2013. On arrival we found our one bed apartment freshly cleaned, very spacious with great view over the river. As other reviews have said the apartment is very tired, out of the seventies,but serviceable . We were however disappointed having booked a queen bed only to be given double. We also found the lack of wine glasses, champagne glasses , no ironing board, broken towel rail in the bathroom and no main light in the bedroom( only a side lamp)along with only 2 out of seven light globes working in the main living area a problem. On reporting to management, it took two days to receive glassware( but only 2 champagne, bad luck if we wanted to have our friends over for a drink! Promise of wine glasses soon never happened) when an ironing board was reluctantly supplied it was old rusty and fell apart as soon as I went to use it. We won't stay here again.

Awesome view of the Lake

I was in a 1 bdrm apartment and I was very surprised on the room size it was excellent, very spacious loved it and I also had a beautiful view of the lake, was awesome. Motel is very clean and also enjoyed th great facilities, pool & spa. There was only one minor fault I found it was the noisey traffic, but it was bearable will recommend to others and will return again in the near future. Thankyou
