Bigger than our house

Loved it. Literally bigger than home, we loved it. Great location, folksy renovation but everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, living area and comfortable bed. Would recommend this to anyone, would work for a family.

Comfortable accommodation

Stayed a night on the cycling weekend. Very clean comfortable room with kitchen. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again. Building is historic, converted into several units, rooms. Very quiet even though in the centre of town.

The past in the present

Clean and beautifully comfortable. What more could you want? The answer is "soul". And here you have it. The connection to Bathurt's roots is unmistakable and deep. Now I have found it I won't be staying anywhere else. Would be great for families/groups. Perfectly located.

Eccentric gem

I stayed here for 4 days. The building is a converted wool storage shed, and is an imposing red brick building converted to flats. The flat I was in had a northerly aspect and received sun from about 6.45 (spring). It is a lovely outlook. The flat was large, with a bedroom, bathroom, sitting and kitchen/dining. There are some cooking facilities but I did not try them. This flat, inexplicably, is on four different levels, differences from room to room being only a few inches, or, to the bedroom, a drop of a lot more. The furnishings are eccentrically collected and look like they came from the house of someone's aunty. Some windows are rotting and in need of repair and paint. Most windows look like they have not been cleaned since aunty died. But I like this place and would come back. My only real gripe is that soundproofing is not great and I could hear the tv or radio in the next flat.

Thank you very much Stephenwombat.
Was it the large, wall plate that depicts a koala reading a book"The Secret Life of Wombats" that spoke to you?
We do work hard to get some things right. This effort is not supposed to be noticed by guests, more subliminal.
We have spent $$ to get soundproofing to work but alas sometimes it is not enough. Thank you for the positive comments and we will make sure the inside windows are cleaned now.
Kind regards,

Comfy and great position

Had 3 days here and will definitely be back. Comfy bed, great kitchen and even a selection of books to read. Just near the park in the centre of town so handy to everything we needed. Plenty of local information available as well.
