My room did not seem cleaned each day, the bathroom was still dirty. However the beds were made.

Unpleasant

Very underwhelming. As a gold Accor member, standard of room is unacceptable. Bathroom is out of date. TV cannot connect to devices or allow streaming.
Clock radio connection is iPhone generation from 10 years ago.
Room smells unpleasant.
Lamp next to bed broken.
Skirting boards chipped and damaged and wires exposed.
Curtain pelmet cracked and broken.
Cobwebs hanging from air vent.
Mould in shower.

Ok, not a 4* property as advertised & in desperate need of renovation

Property is definitely aged and in need of renovation. My first room, a Classic Twin, was very basic. Small table barely big enough for a laptop, hard static chair, no coffee machine. Would have been ok for a budget traveler for a night or two, but as I was staying a week I requested to change rooms and the front desk were very amenable. My 2nd room, a Privilege Room in the East Tower, was better but was the standard I was expecting from the room I had booked. The room had several maintenance issues and some surfaces had a fair amount of dust. I sure these rooms were once nice, but now in desperate need of renovation.
Location was great, a short walk into the city. There's an awesome place for breakfast just over the road.
The gym facilities were aged but functional. Sadly I didn't have time to try the pool, but it appeared to be heated.
I would stay again if traveling on a budget, or only staying for 1 night

Basic but comfortable stay.

My daughter and I had an evening theatre date and decided to make it a staycation. We did get a deal on the room, and we may have been disappointed had we paid more. We arrived early and were able to drop our bags and went out for lunch. Staff at our early arrival and later at check in were friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious with two double beds. The bathroom was a little tired, with a cracked sink, there were no amenities pack, slippers, robed or bottled/filtered water which you tend to expect from 4-star accommodation, but did have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion available. Lifts are rather small (if you were travelling with a lot of luggage) and we didn't avail ourselves of any of the other facilities e.g. pool/restaurants or bar. The hotel is in a great location and provided a basic clean and comfortable stay.

Stay was ok. Paint chips on doors and walls look a little average, worn out and the tap handles in the shower kelt falling off. Makes one hell of a racket when they fall off.
Air conditioning was also noisy.
But other than that nil issues.

Very good location
