Great park close to town

Great park, close to town, we had a powered ensuite site, ensuite was 10/10 and very clean. We were even supplied with clean towels which was a nice bonus, very friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed indeed.

Our stay was for the Elvis Festival, the park had opened up a lot of extra sites but did not supply any extra facilities except for one port a loo.
The staff at reception were way less than helpful and made no effort to accommodate any requests.

Great value park

Friendly staff, great facilities. Have unpowered tent sites, unlike the Showground which now does not accept tent visitors. Has coin operated laundry facilities also. Enjoyed my one night stay.

One of the better options

We were camping on an unpowered site, the site was clean, easy to peg the tent, grassy and extremely spacious.
The bathroom and shower block were so clean. The camp kitchen had a microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, sink with complimentary dishwashing liquid, sponges and tea towels. We travelled with a dog and they had their own secure fully fenced off lead dog area. It looks small but it wrapped around the building and was more than enough space for a kelpie to run.
The location is just outside the Main Street and very close to the picturesque war memorial. I’d camp here again if I’m in the area.

Heads up on "cancellation fee"

Beware of "cancellation fee"! We had booked one night in a powered site, but my husband became ill on our travels and we had to cut short our trip. I immediately contacted the park management - three weeks before our planned visit - to ask them to cancel the booking and issue a refund due to circumstances. I got a reply saying "no refunds - $25 'administration fee' will be deducted from your booking and remaining balance held to be used within the next 12 months". These terms ARE in the T&C's on their website, but just be aware.
