We stayed at Hyde Park Inn for three nights and had a very pleasant experience. The room and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable.
What surprised us most was the little kitchenette in the room. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, including pots, pans, plates, and utensils. It was especially convenient for our family and made it easy to prepare simple meals.
The hotel also provided a simple breakfast. We could enjoy it whenever we wanted, and if we chose to try a local breakfast instead, we never felt like we were wasting anything.
Since we were travelling for several days, the **free laundry and drying facilities** were an absolute lifesaver! Being able to wash and dry our clothes for free during our three-night stay was incredibly convenient and made travelling with the family so much easier.
Overall, Hyde Park Inn was clean, comfortable, practical, and very family-friendly. We really appreciated all the thoughtful facilities and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Sydney.

Good location

We booked this hotel for Sydney sightseeing purposes. Hotel is located on Elizabeth street which a major thoroughfare . Inn is less than 4 km from Darling Harbor 3 km from Opera House It is more of an Inn than a Hotel. It offers a small kitchen with stove, microwave and other utensils. The front entry is modern but the rooms are dated. The room has all amenities but no safe deposit box. Every day breakfast is placed in the fridge and no hot breakfast bar. But there are coffee shops close by.Everything is in working order and staff is helpful.

Adequate!

Clean place and excellent location.
The included breakfast is actually 4 things in the room that you have to prepare yourself. Carpet everywhere. The people at the reception don't even say hello.

Great hotel, location great, big rooms, great value

Great location! Fabulous views, especially from the 15th floor! Much bigger than your average hotel room. Love the little kitchenette area and balcony. No frills, but perfect for affordable accommodation, comfy beds, will recommend and definitely stay again. Breakfast is basic (in the fridge, toast, cereal etc) but perfect for the kids!
Staff friendly and helpful. Bonus to have free parking, but prebook if you want to park onsite or you will have to park a block away , which is fine but not if you are elderly etc

The room was fine and the staff were nice.
However aircon didn't work and extractor fan didn't work. Windows don't open and sliding door to balcony is locked.
