Fantastic place with very friendly staff

We had a fantastic week at Hotel Bergerhof in January. The contact prior to our stay was very cordial, but once we arrived, everything was beyond expectations. A beautiful suite with a very beautiful view over the Montafon that we love. Silke and her team gave us a wonderful week. Everything is very clean, the people are always friendly and it is a beautiful place to escape the crowds. Beautiful winter hiking trails start from the hotel. We also received useful tips about day trips and were able to borrow snowshoes. The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard. We ate a la carte almost every day and it was one big feast. On to next time!

Just get away from it all

Welcoming, good room and bathroom, excellent breakfast and half board, nice sauna. Beautifully situated on the mountain with beautiful views. Good hotel for a getaway. You can ski in Silvretta Montafon. Beautiful surroundings. Recommended for couples, seniors, etc.

Had a wonderful stay here

Myself and 4 others stayed here last week (Sept 2013). This is a grand hotel which I cannot fault. The staff were so nice and we had a very nice meal and a few drinks in the bar. The place was very relaxed and friendly. I would rate this hotel as a 3 star and the views 5 star. Would I return..... Definitely. Regards Colm.

Clean, quiet, super view, quaint

As with the reviews below, the views from the balcony room is "in your face" amazing. For a double room, not too sure whether we were upgraded but given a huge room with a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom is clean, mattresses a little thin but otherwise comfortable. Furniture a little dated but gives this hotel in a quiet location a certain charm. Welcoming hosts who can speak English fairly well, I'm sure we would have more to chat about if we spoke German! Excellent breakfast with a good spread, including cold cuts and cheese. Austrian fare served for dinner served at the hotel restaurant (which we ate twice). There's a tourist office in the hotel itself which is a plus in itself. Ample parking space opposite the hotel. Most importantly it is quiet so we got good nights' sleep.
Some gripes would be the drive up a long and windy narrow road to the hotel, with some sharp bends, a little tricky if you are visiting a country which drives on the opposite side of the road and it's your first day in the country! But we did it anyway!
And there's no lift, so we had to lug our luggage up the steps to our hotel room, fortunately it's on the 2nd floor.
Would definitely stay here again.

I would go back tomorrow if I could...and probably never leave!

Wow! Amazing views from beautiful balcony rooms. Gorgeous food in the cosy and welcoming restaurant. Well-stocked bar, clean comfortable bedrooms, excellent bathrooms and friendly welcoming hosts - what more could you want? Throw in fantastic weather, huge mountains opposite, a winding quiet road to get there, utter peace and quiet, easy parking and a lovely fresh breakfast with an excellent choice....probably one of the best hotel nights I've had - I would go back tomorrow and you should definitely go and visit if you get the chance!
