Nice visit with a mountain view

I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night stay at this family-owned hotel built by the current owner's grandfather. I had reserved a single room but was upgraded to a double. The room was cozy with comfy bedding, including a real eiderdown cover. The decor was somewhat dated, especially the bathroom, but everything and every place was impeccably clean.
Because I was there on a day when only a limited dinner menu was available, I cannot properly assess the dining experience. The restaurant with a view was closed but the bar area was quite nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the extent and excellent quality of the breakfast buffet which was included in the hotel price.
The main part of Bludenz and the compact old town are easily accessed by a set of stairs leading down the hill. Although the hotel is near the train station, I did need a taxi due to traveling with cumbersome luggage. The taxi on the way back can be arranged at the front desk.
Congratulations to Susanne on the 60th anniversary of her family's lovely and atmospheric hotel. I wish her continued success.

Very pleasant both for families and (smaller) groups.

I ran a group of our university and we stayed 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience - a spacious hotel rather in Alpine-historical style, a well-run and yet not expensive restaurant and always good-humoured staff. The view from the breakfast room to Silvretta was free, and the boss took care of the guests almost around the clock

Enjoyed every day of my stay

As in the previous years, I have of course chosen Schlosshotel Dörflinger again this year for my two-week stay in the Alpine city of Bludenz. The quiet yet central location on a rock high above the rooftops of the old town of Bludenz is unique and you are in the beautiful old town on foot in 5 minutes. From the breakfast terrace you have an impressive view of the surrounding mountains. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and the family atmosphere of the house. Everything is very well maintained. Free parking is available in sufficient numbers.
I certainly felt very comfortable, enjoyed every day of my stay very much and look forward to seeing you again at Schlosshotel Dörflinger.

You can't get better

Super nice welcome. Very nice, clean room with retro flair (I liked the golden one. Roosters). Dinner was great (table spittle and pike perch fillet). Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.
E-bike could be charged and was parked overnight in garage (ski storage).
