The best Austrian hotel for an exquisite Austrian ski experience.
Just exquisite Austrian welcome. Beautifully designed hotel, dipped in authentic architectural style.
Superb boot room.

A long weekend to enjoy
Nice little family hotel. Great location. Quiet rooms.
Possibly the mattresses in the attic room could be replaced by a wider mattress so that you don't have to lie in the gap ;-)
The location is ideal for hiking or strolling through the village. Beautiful paths also along the Alvierbach.

Highly Recommended
Firstly Brand is a beautiful village in a secluded valley near the Swiss border. The hotel is positioned in an ideal place near the village centre. The post bus and Spar are a two minute walk away.
The main reason there are only a handful of reviews for the Landhaus Sonne on Trip Advisor is due to the fact the vast majority of guests are German and their reviews are placed on the german equivalent website Holiday Check.
The hotel is small and very well run by the young owners Phillip and Tamara who are both very friendly and helpfull with information about the area and daily weather forecast. The couple speak fluent English and immediately make you feel very welcome and enjoy conversation. We enjoyed the informal chats every evening. The rooms are very clean and spacious, service is carried out by the hardworking and lovely Maria who also carries the luggage upstairs for you. We had a balcony room which was given to us on request, most rooms do not have this. There is loads of storage space and an excellent free WiFi connection. The food served up can only be described as excellent with a nice buffet spread in the morning with Phillip handling any requests for hot food. He conjured up a wonderful omlette for myself on a regular basis. The evening meal consisted of four courses with a choice for main including a vegitarian option. The presentation, taste and portions could not be faulted. A choice of selected wines were also available.
We would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, homely feel and first class service and catering.

Great little hotel !
Super little family run hotel. Excellent food prepared by the talented chef and owner Phillip. Best food we have ever had anywhere in Austria! The hotel is in a very good location right in the centre of the lovely village of Brand. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Landhaus Sonne as an alternative to the larger hotels and will definately stay here again if we ever return to Brand.

Wonderful
We wish we were staying a week rather than just a few days. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly. We recommend eating dinner at the hotel. The food is excellent. A real treat. We would be happy to come again.
