Relaxing family holiday

We had another great time in the Walser Lodge. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of everything (toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, kitchen roll, etc.). What we really liked was that there was not only enough crockery and glasses for 4 people, but much more. When the lights went out in the sauna, someone was sent the next day to fix it. The apartments are right next to the lift. If you don't want to ski, you can also start great hikes from there.

Great apartment with a fantastic view

We were guests at the Walser Lodge for the second time and it was really nice again. Great house with a great view and a quiet location. Just right if you want to relax. Restaurant in the neighborhood, bus stop in front of the house, you don't need a car. Beautiful hikes that you can start directly from the house (e.g. Wildental, Gemsteltal). Otherwise it's easy to get to the cable cars by bus. We can definitely recommend the Walser Lodge!

Fabulous Views from a very comfortable apartment

Wonderful views from the lounge (especially when the rain stopped). We were met by the helpful charming proprietor who explained everything we needed to know. The lounge is large with a well equipped kitchen. The larger bedroom is comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains and there is a second bedroom available if needed. To relax there is an in-house sauna available at all times (towels and bath robes provided). The apartment is situated a little way from the main road - far enough away not to be disurbed by traffic noise, but near enough to walk to reach the village.
There are a lot of restaurants in and around the village, but we arrived somewhat off season and the choice was limited (but good). For more choice, Oberstdorf is only a short drive or bus ride away.
The area has plenty of outdoor activities available (though we were a little limited by the bad weather). But we were still able to enjoy some pleasant walks.
