Nice stay, good food, pleasant atmosphere and a great view!

I became aware of the hotel through the Salzburger Nachrichten auction. So we booked a stay for 4 nights with half board. And did not regret it! The view is beautiful! The people are very friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere is too. The guests are mixed: older couples like us, but also parents with children. We were out and about during the day, but there is also a lawn for resting. We liked it very much at the Arche and we really enjoyed our time there.

Criticism for shamanism and working with staff

The food was great, and we were well looked after as guests. However, what really bothered us was that the hotel owner once yelled at an employee right in front of us. If he behaves like that in front of guests, we can only wonder how he treats his staff when guests aren’t around. That’s why we won’t be coming back.
The hotel also advertises itself as being child-friendly, but unfortunately there aren’t really any proper play areas or activities for children. Instead, in the middle of the night, we had to listen to shamanic dancing and chanting, and we even found all the objects and items used for the ritual outside the hotel. The chanting and everything else took place in the middle of the night, and honestly, it really gave both me and the children the creeps — we got a real chill down our spines.

Rejuvenating for body, mind, soul, and spirit

My stay at Bioarche felt truly regenerative, like a mini vacation for my body, heart, and soul. I came there to participate in a lovely seminar but arrived early and stayed later. I would definitely return for my own vacation another time, even without participating in a seminar. I experienced hospitality in so many ways there: friendly, supportive staff who are happy to engage guests in conversations and share about the area, amazing healthy vegetarian meals, extra support when I had an allergic reaction to a bee sting. I appreciated the dedication to environmentally conscious practices. Each area was always clean and beautifully arranged. The building and grounds are homey with every corner thoughtfully designed and cared for. Local delicacies and care products are available for purchase. The spa area is spacious. The view is truly amazing. I felt surrounded by the comforting presence of the mountains all around me. I loved hiking to the sacred spring nearby and learning about its cultural significance and healing properties. I loved the quiet and peaceful quality of the entire space. I left feeling nourished deeply. Thank you!

Relaxing days at the Biolandhaus Arche near Eberstein

Very good and extensive breakfast and very good meatless dinner with a very (!) extensive drink menu including many non-alcoholic house creations and very friendly staff!
Very beautiful location with a wonderful view of the surrounding area (as far as Triglav etc.!). Many excursion options (old silver mine, Bible hiking trail, Tower of the Winds in St. Oswald + GH Messner (!), to Druckerhütte:),translation_3: Kugelfichte, eclogite stone, Kupplerbrunn eclogite, Steinerhütte, Speikkogel, Großer Sauofen; church and GH Gutmann in Mirning and much more);
No TV: NO problem, better Wi-Fi internet desirable in some areas!!

Dreamy getaway

Perfect getaway with a dream view! Ambience: A very special place of power for absolute relaxation. Highlight: A dreamlike panoramic view directly from the house. Room: Very friendly, cozy, and invitingly designed. Service: Extremely attentive, nice, and warm staff.️ Culinary: Very good food, which lacked absolutely nothing.
