Great place!

The place and veiw is awesome! The staff treats you like family. Amazing customer service plus amazing veiw what else could you ask for a holiday. And the food is delish i think i gained weight the food is included in room and i must say the rooms are spacious and i love the interior decoration ❤️

Blattlhof on the border of Kufstein and Kitzbühel

There's nothing about the Blattlhof. Located directly on the country road 178, it is a less attractive walk both to Ellmau (Bez. Kufstein) and to Going (Bez. Kitzbühel). The rooms are simple, more in the pension style but with new bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor pool overlooking the Wilder Kaiser and a small sauna area (a sauna, a steam bath). Breakfast offers everything you could wish for. Credit card payment without any problems.

Family oriented, but service quality and attitude could be improved

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4. The hotel's booking confirmation email clearly stated we would have a mountain view. Instead, we were given a room on the other side of the hotel blocked by trees. When I asked at reception, I was told that this was the quieter side of the hotel. They couldn't offer me another room because it was fully booked. There was no apology or sympathy whatsoever. They denied responsibility for the contents of the confirmation email, even though it was from them (or their online portal). They shouldn't have made this decision on my behalf, as the other side of the hotel isn't much noisier and we were really looking forward to the advertised view. Also, the water supply was cut off a few days into our stay - we called reception and were told this was the normal maintenance window. This was not announced or communicated whatsoever. This was unprofessional. That being said, they are family friendly and have a lot of kids toys and amenities, which is a huge plus. They also prepared packed lunches for our children. The food was excellent, the salad bar is well stocked and has a very good selection. The front desk staff are very knowledgeable about local activities, including those for children.

Friendly hotel in Tyrol

Stayed for 4 days in the Blattlhof as we were attending a family wedding in Ellmau. Very friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed in superior double room. Small swimming pool which was freezing but plenty of sunbeds. Wonderful views. Short walk to Ellmau and Going in the opposite direction. No check-in after 10pm. We had to stay up until other wedding guests arrived as their flights had been delayed.

Worth a stop off

We were walking on our own circular route via Reith in Kitzbuhel when we found this welcome place in lovely little Going. We only stopped off for coffee and cake, but it was well worth it. The home made cake was very favourable and the prices were reasonable.
