Directly at the ski run in Nassfeld Ski Area, at 1,500 metres above sea level, Hotel Gartnerkofel offers a an outdoor pool and a spa area with an indoor pool. Free WiFi is available. In summer, various activities are offered free of charge, including guided hikes and farm picnics, as well as unusual offers such as tree-planting and cleaning pigs with shampoo. A Carinthian farmers’ buffet is offered once a week. A 10-minute walk away, the Felsenpark (climbing park) offers free admission to guests once a week. Beautiful days

Almost a thirty-year regular customer, but after a 4-year absence, a guest at the Gartnerkofel again. It was an incredibly beautiful stay. The care and competence of the hosts (Anneliese and Martin) cannot be surpassed. The guided hike with Anneliese and the subsequent picnic in particular will remain an unforgettable memory. What is offered from breakfast to dinner is unique. A top-class wine list at reasonable prices. A great team ensures your well-being. A top-class hotel. We look forward to our next stay.

Early bird

Hurrah, sunshine for 3 days and 2 x only us hotel guests at sunrise at 7.30 on the slopes. The lift from the hotelier Martin on order for us - one hour. Wos would like more. Afterwards to the great breakfast ... Ski ... Spa ... Dinner buffet .... Disco - and Martin whips the guests to peak form. Finally midnight - horny day

Best ski resort

I've pent 4 nights in February 2026 at Gartnerkofel hotel and our goal was to ski all around. I can't find the words to describe the quality of Gartnerkofel hotel. Amazing, remarkable, beautiful, awesome... best quality for: food, hospitality, rooms, SPA with 7 saunas, steam room, swimming pool, jacuzzi. Martin and all his crew were amazing.
everything perfect, including ski service. one step out of the hotel and you are on the ski slope. you have your own cupboard were to leave boots, ski etc and a shop were to buy, rent and service your ski equipment. I really recommend this place.
