We look forward to coming back.

It was the 4th time we were at Hotel Sonnfeld, very well received again, friendly service and very delicious food. Sonnfeld is located in the beautiful Stodertal, where we have been since 2002. There are very beautiful excursions to do. Hopefully there will be a 5th time. See you later......

A very well-run family hotel, with a beautiful location and a great mountain view. Very nice hosts. The food was very delicious. We would love to come back.

Upper Austria

Near Hinterstoder located on a mountain in peace. Very friendly family, with passion for their profession. Half board included in the price. Also Active Card free in the summer. Thus free use mountain lifts, swimming pools, thermal baths,...
The family has everything perfectly under control, down to the smallest details. Renovation has resulted in a luxurious interior of the hotel.
Extreme temperatures also during our visit, but no air conditioning.

A unique hotel in prime location

My wife and I spent a great week at the beautiful Hotel Sonnfeld in Hinterstoder, a picturesque town in Upper Oesterreich in the northern limestone Alps below Linz.
We stayed here four times before the Corona period and thought it was high time to enjoy the warm hospitality of the family again, from whom the young generation has now taken over the hotel and restaurant. Modernizations with beautiful design have been made very tastefully in recent years, without losing the traditional aspect. The cuisine is still exquisite and all in all this hotel deserves a five-star rating as far as we are concerned.
