Everything you need for a wonderful vacation

Great location, a very short walking distance from the cable car. Spacious and clean rooms, a varied breakfast, a great indoor pool, and wonderful hotel staff.
Located in a stunning area with breathtaking views, in a picturesque and quiet town

Neat, but I don't have to come back now.

One night at Hotel Das Landerer, on the way due to a business appointment in the valley.
So, not a wellness retreat, no quest for meaning in the mountains, but: arrive, sleep, have breakfast, move on.
The room was well-maintained, spacious, and the bathroom area was in good condition, with a nice shower. There is nothing to complain about that. The staff were professionally friendly – not unfriendly, but also not so warm that it would make your heart swell spontaneously.
The breakfast was okay, rather solidly average. I found it striking that some bowls at the buffet – cereal, fruit, and similar items – were rather sparsely filled. Presumably, they do not want to throw anything away. Understandable. It just seems a bit like the hotel is internally keeping track of what the guest is taking.
But what is the main point for me is: As a guest for one night, we received a room directly above the entrance. For me, this is not particularly wise guest psychology. If someone is only there for a short time, one could also charmingly "sweeten" the experience: nice room, good impression, maybe they will come back... Instead, it felt more like the room that is given when one thinks: They will be gone again tomorrow anyway.
Upon check-in, then the information: Today is a rest day at the restaurant. Not dramatic, but also not resolved with elegance. There was a list of restaurants. Right next door was pizza/pasta – not exactly what one dreams of after a long business day at over 30 degrees. Everything else meant either
"also a rest day" or just once more down, about 15 minutes downhill, then again 15 minutes uphill. You can do that. However, one does not have to perceive it as a particularly warm-hearted solution.
The evening was saved by the Rauthof inn: There it was really very good. Casual, friendly, and good food.
Conclusion: The Landerer is clean, tidy, and functional. For one night, it was all fine. But it did not evoke a desire in me to consciously return. Solid, yes. Enthusiasm, no.

Once is enough - but don't come again

The location of the hotel is great, as you can start right on the ski slopes up to the gondola. Breakfast very good. What unfortunately bothered us a lot was the selection at dinner, as there were always only 5 main courses. Twice a week the restaurant is closed and on a Friday and Saturday there is only an expensive 10-course menu. Even here, some of the dishes on the general menu were included. It's a shame the cook is so inflexible. Even with the children's dishes, the choice was very small. The boss herself was very unkind. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa area was nice and quiet.

Nice hotel, little personal presence of owners

Nice hotel, right on the ski slopes, good breakfast, nice service staff, nice wellness area, kitchen- well ... 5 equal main courses for the whole week, very inflexible. Hotel manager not present, you can only see her checking out, not very friendly. At this price we would have expected more appreciation and presence of the owner family.
We're not coming back.

WONDERFUL DAYS!

We stayed as a family of five (5, 8, 11 years) in the Landerer and spent wonderful days! The hotel is very well located, the staff warm and attentive, the food and breakfast excellent and the accommodation (family apartment) generously cut. In addition, there is a very nice sauna/spa area and a swimming pool, which offers a great change especially for the children after a day on the slopes. We were very satisfied all around and enjoyed the days.
