This was a great hotel for our family to stay at while visiting friends in the Steyr area. The front desk staff was polite and courteous, although their English was not as good as in some of the other more touristy areas of Austria. The breakfast available at the hotel was very good (although not included in the hotel booking, we were able to arrange this once on property). The elevator was only functional when front desk staff was at the hotel due to a technician defect - this was not really problematic for our family but hopefully gets fixed soon. The location was very walkable to the town center.

Needs a restyling...in manners

The position is quite nice, but the hotel needs a serious restyling; the rooms are old and poor furnished. The very problem is the staff, absolutely arrogant and unpolite even though one speaks German. The same unpoliteness showed by the staff of the breakfast..... no "goodmorning" entering the room. Never again.

Decent hotel in a very cute town

The staff were nice and the room satisfactory. We were mostly walking around in the town, so we did not spend much time in the room or hotel but our room was clean and spacious. The price was fair and the walking distance to the town was fine. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good.
