Clean and comfortable

Situated amongst the vineyards above the village this is certainly a lovely little place. Spacious rooms, clean and quiet. The whole place would be nothing without the Hungarian lady who takes care of everything and is very friendly and helpful. We actually called the place before we arrived to check if there was anywhere to eat nearby. Having cycled all day we were hungry. We were told there were several places in the vicinity, which could easily be reached on foot. On the basis of that we cycled up the hill to the Pension, only to find out that everything was closed in the area, meaning a ride back down into the village and a subsequent long walk up the hill. I would suggest the owner checks his facts first, particularly if he is sitting in Vienna. A direct line to the Pension would be a good idea.

Pension with great location in scenic countryside

Very likeable pension situated in scenic landscape with great views over this hilly country and just 2-3 km away of Therme Loipersdorf. We visited this pension twice during the year and we have been very satisfied during both our stays. Perhaps during our recent stay some marks of wear of furnishings were more visible, but the pension as itself is very cozy, clean with familial atmosphere. The special chapter is certainly the dinning room that is spacious, luminous and offers interesting views over the countryside. The quality, savouriness and variousness of the food that is being served for the breakfast on the basis of bufet with fresh pastry is notable as well. Even the customers with specific diggestive problems and / or with special diets will be satisfied. Last but not least I would appreciate the customer-tailored approach of the staff of the hotel.

Place where we‘d like to take our friends with us

In our fifth trip to Austria we decided to visit Styria - land of thermal spas and tasty wines. Pension Lammerhof was our chosen place to stay there (from 6 of July for 3 nights). And we were right – it’s an excellent pension with outside sauna and pool and beautiful sights from the balcony of our room.
In the area we found many different open-air activities – hiking in the woods, biking through small picturesque villages, visiting thermal spas and walking along wine paths. Diversity of the activities makes this place fit for a company of friends having different areas of interest. We are planning to come back with our friends in the winter season.
We'd like to send special thanks to Christina who helped us so much to find a solution for a problem with our rented car.

What a wonderful retreat

We wanted to stay near the Therme Loupersdorf, but did not like the price point of the hotels nearby. So we found this four star jewel just a short distance away. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean and were supplied with bath robes and wonderful fluffy towels. Our breakfast each morning had a nice variety of fresh meats, cheese, delicious breads, cereals, beverages, and even soft boiled eggs. Our host was helpful in getting us reservations for the Therme and recommended a good nearby restaurant for dinner. Great place, reasonable pricing, great service.

leider nicht mehr das was es war, ist in die Jahre gekommen

Pension liegt mit dem Auto gut 10 Min auf einen Hügel in der Nähe von Loipersdorf. Wer Ruhe sucht der findet sie auch dort. Der kleine Pool und die Sauna im Freien liegen in einem Garten am Hügel eingebettet. Jedes Zimmer bietet Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Die Zimmer, einfach eingerichtet, haben auch schon besser Zeiten gesehen, sind groß und geräumig, mit extra Badezimmer. Frühstück hat sich nicht geändert, Gebäck auf Bestellung am Vortag, Auswahl befriedigend, schwankend, kommt drauf an, wer Dienst hat. Der Eiskasten an der Rezeption war früher besser bestückt, leider war die Weinauswahl diesmal nicht mehr so gross.
