Very nice and welcoming place

We made an unexpected stop at this hotel on our trip to Italy. We arrived very late but were very welcomed by the owner. The room was very good for a short stay and the breakfast was unbelievably good.
We paid a very interesting last minute rate.
We recommend this hotel with a very nice view on the mountains.

Very cosy little B&B

I really recommend this little gasthaus. Four nice rooms and a rustic restaurant serving classical austrian cuisine. Helmut and Grete (the owners) gives you amazing service and their son Michael cooks really tasty dishes.
Very intimate, very cosy and very "gemütlich". Consult Google Translate if you don't know the meaning of the last word.

Real Austrian food of high quality

Went with the family to Telfer Stubm for dinner. We had pre-ordered the famous Backhendl. Juicy fried chicken, KFC eat you heart out! The accompanying salad is great, ask for the kurbiskernöl! Family run restaurant, don't expect fancy stuff or trendy interiour, just honest Austrian friendliness food.

Very pleasant.

Our reason for staying was simply that it was convenient for the next day's trip into Germany to see Neuschwanstein Castle. The hotel was cosy and friendly. Run by a very experienced hotelier, they only seemed to have about 4 rooms. Bargain price. Good meal. Quiet rural setting on edge of neat town, no parking issues.
Traveled as a (mature age Australian) couple for seven weeks in Europe in July/August 2014 including four weeks of driving 4000km (mostly Austria and Italy - most accomodation 3 to 4 star hotels prebooked from Tripadvisor reviews to maximise sightseeing time each day). Despite the warnings in Tripadvisor forum we found driving easy on uncrowded roads and far more convenient and scenic than train travel. PROBLEMS we encountered on train from Budapest to Vienna...young last minute travellers block aisles and take all seats in restaurant, block toilet access...i am sure that older travellers would encounter baggage issues boarding and alighting...especially if they have suitcases suitable for an extended holiday as did we.

gemütlich, familiär

familäre, kleine Pension, Zimmer sauber und mit kleinem Balkon, auf dem Stockwerk ein Kühlschrank mit gekühlten Getränken zu humanen Preisen. Frühtück sehr reichhaltig, gute Auswahl, Wünsche werden erfüllt. Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Nette Nachbarn die auch nix gegen gemütliche Abende auf dem Balkon haben.
