Perfect location Grand building and mostly perfect apartment - BUT... carpets and matresses NO!

Location - you could not ask for better - so very central. Some reviews said the noise from the club close by was disturbing - whilst yes it could be heard but faintly so no it did not disturb our sleep anyway. Apartment was great - bathroom large and bright - mirrors in the wrong position but hey cannot ask for everything! Shower was powerful and large cubicle. Kitchenette perfect size for a short stay and to make hot drinks - decent fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and even a toaster! It was a fabulous apartment........Even the support staff on messenger were great as was the lady who cleans - very polite and helpful .......BUT in desperate need of a refresh.
Carpets - very very dirty - not something that could be cleaned - but should be replaced!
Mattress - double bed had a mattress topper which was so worn the bobbling could be felt through the sheets and way too soft ....and DIRTY - not a pleasant sleep area!
Pull out sofa bed mattresse - just disgusting - large wee circles on both sides and other marks! hairs and dirt throughout !
SUCH A SHAME - would give this accom 5*s IF these issues were resolved.
This is not the fault of the cleaner - this is a furniture issue - utterly worn out!
Please guys spend a little money and replace these very used items - its a quick fix too so why not earn yourselves 5*s?

Excellent location. Walking distance to almost everything. Train/bus station right across the street. Was disappointed in the amenities, no shampoo or no conditioner. Only provided 2 coffee pods for a three night stay, no option to replenish pods. It was very noisy at this location, could hear all the traffic and people at night so no good sleeps here.

Apartment misrepresented on company website and Booking.com

We're on night 3 of 4 and I wouldn't ever stay here again. The apartment was not as described in our booking confirmation, the bed malfuntions and should be replaced, there is insufficient personal storage, and the club right below us (not mentioned in any advertising) is going to keep us up all night with incessant drumming, even though I had requested a quiet unit. The ONLY thing to recommend it is the location.

Too much noise

The noise at this place is unbearable. It’s 8am and even now you can still hear the constant thud of club sass below together with the night clubbers drinking and smoking, the very busy road and metro directly outside.
At first I didn’t notice the noise as much but it was midweek when we arrived. It’s got progressively worse to the point we can’t sleep.
The smell as you enter the building is sickening. Like a greasy restaurant.
The apartment itself (if you can ignore the noise and smell) is alright. Bed was comfy. The carpet needs cleaning and there is no where for storage other than a small drawer next to the bed and hooks on a wall.
The best part about the place is the location.
