Short but Relaxing Stay at Cleythil Hotel

I had a lovely short stay at Cleythil Hotel. My room was cosy and well lit, and the windows offered a beautiful scenic view. The hotel is set in a calm, quiet countryside ; ideal for relaxing walks in the forest. The staff were exceptionally warm and the breakfast was excellent. A couple of drawbacks: the family room has only one toilet-shower, which can be difficult with children, and there was no mirror in the upstairs room for getting ready. Overall, a peaceful, welcoming place for a short getaway.

Tropical temperatures in the room

This hotel booked as an overnight stay for a trip to Bruges and Ghent.
Perfect location.
Rooms basic but fine.
But the room was so incredibly warm it was unpleasant.
It was at least 25 degrees when we entered. Tried everything to let it cool down but that didn't work.
The rooms have no air conditioning but a cooling or heating system.
The cooling system will not come into operation until May. And so the room heats up.
Now with the window wide open it cools down slightly.
But because of the location (rural) but on a busy road, that is not optimal. The rooms are advertised with air conditioning and that is therefore not correct.
Too bad about this experience. Others are so positive we have been looking forward to it.

Lovely stay here, the staff were fantastic, super comfy room, great parking, fabulous breakfast. Would stay again in the future!

Reliant Sabre Sabra classic car meeting

excellent hotel, we stayed there with 20 people following our annual meeting with our vintage cars, very friendly welcome and fine Service, hotel is in nature with ample parking , a 10 out of 10 for Katrijn

Marriage nephew

A wedding party in Bruges (Maldegem). From Leuven, no option to return at night. This hotel chosen because it is, the closest to banquet hall.
A bull's-eye, what a friendly welcome. Nice, clean rooms, rich breakfast, pleasant framework, cozy atmosphere.
A real family hotel.
Nicely located, also perfect for walking in the area.
Hats off to the managers.
