Château de Vierset
Château de Vierset is a castle dating back from 1090 and almost completely surrounded by a moat. It combines unique castle features with a calm atmosphere and spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. The rooms are decorated with wooden ceiling beams and parquet floors. They have a private bathroom that comes with free soap and shampoo products. At the courtyard, there is a large south-facing sun terrace where guests can relax on sunny days. There is free private parking available on site. Every morning, Château de Vierset offers an extensive breakfast buffet in the castle’s lounge. Restaurants such as La Roseraie or Le Coq aux Champs are a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

Lovely the peace, warmth and charm
Beautiful rooms in the castle. The entrance is amazingly beautiful. Castle is beautifully situated and beautiful views. A good bed for us. Good night. Good night.
The breakfast was tasty, cozy and adequate.

Nightmare hotel
hotel a nightmare, at €200 per room.
Spiders and cobwebs everywhere, open bathrooms in the room, the owner entering the room without knocking after 11 PM and refusing to leave!
breakfast without milk, yogurt, cakes, croissants or brioches, without bacon and eggs, a slice of ham and a single cheese slice per person. Undrinkable coffee. Rooms in the attic (3 flights of stairs without an elevator) extremely hot (without air conditioning). No shampoo and soap in the bathrooms.
If I had booked, the refund request would have been initiated.

Annoying
We arrive in this castle at the same time as a Flemish couple.
We are greeted by the gentleman, initially the difference is not felt.
We have a welcome drink and then the speech begins. We clearly feel that the owners are only a minimal pleasant with us because we are not Flemish. The lady barely speaks to us.
So we ask quite quickly to go to our room. Mister asks us if a cast iron bath suits us... you'll understand why.
A double bed, which is only two single beds glued, a TV that does not work, a window that we do not know how to enjoy because too high to see the view and that we barely know how to open, a decoration with a broken piece on the floor, .. I pass the other details.
21h, someone knocks on the door, it is the lady who clearly enters without asking in our room to fold the bed cover because it must be done!!
During our stay, we realize that we have no information, simple example: in a closet, there was a sign that we could hang on the window so as not to be disturbed by light in the morning. Which would have been very helpful to know...
Breakfast included, it is clear there are many things but yes everything is industrial .. personal, it did not bother us more than that. On the other hand, some remarks were still well misplaced as Mr. who alludes to a moment as a couple in the cast iron bath... sorry?
After breakfast, we packed the luggage and quickly left.
“For the next time you know there is a sign for the sun” there will clearly be no next time.

Country brake in style
Your bedroom will be on the third floor and it is an amazing design of that huge attic ! The wonderful couple said they restored the building themselves!
The night was very quiet except an odd owl chirping, the breakfast is good, a large garden makes a picnic attractive.
