My stay in Albert Hotel- Summer 2023
Passable Experience:
Liked · With the Price of 60 to 65 Euros, it is in a good Location with connections to public transport. The hotel staff was able to give a room at 11:30 as i came earlier than check-in time. They have a mini kiosk in the reception for mineral water bottles, cool drinks and beer. WIFI is also quite good without any interruptions.
Disliked · The room is very small and barely adequate for single person. The lighting inside the room are not very bright. The shower in the bathroom and toilet are really cramped and is not like the pictures shown during booking process in booking.com. There is only one single Power outlet. I suggest to bring charging extension cords if you have many devices. The flooring is old and badly maintained .There is no sound proofing in the walls and you can easily hear the outside noise during night. The hotel is directly facing the main road and you can easily the traffic noise from outside as the windows are not acoustics or sound-proof. Also beds are not that comfy and is difficult if you are not a sound sleeper. It is difficult to go to sleep in those beds and they definitely needed a upgrade. I think that Definitely would not recommend for family and is only suitable for single persons or for couple looking for short stay in a cheap hotel in good location with very minimum amenities. Cleaning of the floors was not done and bed linens were not changed every day as i stayed for around three days. The lift is very small and can barely accommodate two persons and stairways are not that safe and it is quite steep without any lighting.
If anyone is planning to stay with lot of luggage, please avoid it. There is no breakfast service even though it is mentioned in the booking.com.

Uncommentable. Dirty is an understatement, very old and the constantly changing staff is incompetent. They only limit themselves to changing towels, non-existent services, the minimum hygiene and safety standards are missing.

When you’ve had a long journey and get to your £75 a night room with One plug socket in the room on the opposite side to the table or bed!!! 🚨 that had no cover over the exposed wires 🚨interesting night/morning of cheating death ☠️

Avoid, seriously
Seeing the comments on Google I thought people were nitpicking about nothing much but know that it's all true.
We are rather "roots" but there, the hygiene in this hotel is downright questionable.
Mold on the walls, bathroom not clean with rusty screws on the shower mixer. Remains of food in the window frame, smells of tobacco and nail clippings on the floor and used bandages on the floor...
And when we tried to talk to the receptionist about it, she literally scorned us and sent us away. Unfriendly and even disrespectful, we couldn't believe it.
The hotel is well located in the city, if you don't have respiratory problems (seeing the mold) it can be OK, but frankly avoid it. Especially if you're with family, it's a bit of a creepy place.

The location is nice but the room was really not in a good condition. It reaked of cigarettes and the air quality was terrible. That was really a problem because it was too cold to keep the window open. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was ok, but the walls and floor in the room were dirty. This really is a budget option, consider only if saving money is a priority.
