Rooms are nicely furnished and always very clean. Our room overlooked the grass courtyard and it was very peaceful. Hotel is located next to many hiking and biking trails that go thru countryside and next to the river.
Staff is amazing and the breakfast is the best.

Sat quasi alone

Particularly good food except for the starter (secreto - very simple) the sommelier Sam was a cream of a skilled guest. Nice and practical suggestions. Sat with only two more table and that gave a desolate feeling

Not recommended to stay there

Nice room very good breakfast, 1st day everything clean but then very dirty , even trash can with toddler's pampers was not emptied , no fresh towels , dirt on the floor and even table was not cleaned.very much money per night for what you get .

Very well maintained reception in banquet hall

In our circle of friends we had an unexpected death. Just a few minutes drive from the crematorium, the motorcycle club organized a mourning moment in De Koolputten. A unique experience, top service, good atmosphere. Thank you!

Better Expected

Bad reception by a Rachid who turned out to be responsible in the banquet hall afterwards, very nervous and towards the rude. He was also very hyper in the room itself. Luckily the food was great. A number of people had previously passed on being vegetarian. This was not followed up and when asked, it was said that e had to adapt. The ladies at breakfast were super friendly.
