An incredible and truly memorable experience – can’t recommend this place enough.

The service was exceptional from start to finish – from carrying our bags to even calling a transport provider in Spanish on our behalf. The little cabins are stunning, with excellent facilities including a shared guest living room, a stone hot tub overlooking the lake, and beautiful, quirky rooms complete with hammocks and even a fire pit in ours – such a treat on cool evenings. We stayed in El Sol.
The views are breathtaking from every angle, and animal lovers will be in their element. The friendly resident cats and free-roaming alpacas made our stay unforgettable (top tip: alpaca breakfast time is 9am, and you can help feed them!).
Thank you so much for an amazing stay – we'll be recommending this place to friends and can’t wait to come back.

FUIR – A scam run by amateurs

I was happy to stay in this hotel with such special architecture, but the reality is far from up to the pictures.
If I could put zero stars, I would. Do not be fooled by the original architecture, this hotel is a logistical nightmare combined with a total lack of respect for the guest and a lack of security on all levels.
I think one of the biggest problems at this school is the kid who calls himself Martin's son. Never seen someone so arrogant and useless.
We went through the hotel twice and He spends his days royally ignoring the guests who are waiting for solutions. Either he's watering and worrying about nothing else, or he doesn't show up at reception when we're sick of handling all the problems in the room and we ask to speak to a manager.
However, we manage to get him and he is asked a simple question about the timetables of the boats, he answers you with unbearable disdain, as if he were disturbed in the middle of his job as a minister. Mr. allows himself to speak out to guests while being unable to solve any technical problems in the room. Apparently, hospitality is not hereditary in this family.
The second major problem is the poor state of facilities and comfort
Plumbing is old age. The shower water was either boiling or freezing, and it took 20 minutes to get a trickle of water. In Copacabana, the nights are freezing. Despite the high price of the room, the insulation is almost non-existent and the small additional heating was absolutely not enough. I had to sleep with my coat on. The stone walls are beautiful in photo, but they seep moisture. A scent of enclosed floated in the room throughout the stay. In my opinion, there are major water filtration concerns that jeopardize the health and safety of clients. And of course when we reported all this in reception the young man did not settle anything.
Finally, the cleanliness was questionable, there was dust everywhere in the nooks and crannies (in my opinion the cleaning is done superficially and only from where customers see. The bedspreads probably haven't seen a washing machine for several months already.
Verdict: It's an empty shell. The place is falling apart and family management is a disaster, especially with a character who treats tourists like pocketbooks on legs. Go anywhere else, you'll be better treated.

Relaxing 3 nights in copcabana

Las olas what can I say!
Best place I've stayed for a while. Quirky so relaxing clean comfortable. Lots of great you he's that make a difference when your travelling. Staff super helpful

If you're coming to Copacabana, this is the hotel you need!

We were excited about the very cute building and could see Lake Titicaca and the alpacas from our rooms!
I got a postcard of the hotel photo as a present!

Hotel

Nice room but it doesn't have a fan and the heat is unbearable. The bathroom is run down, but everything else is fine. The view is the best of all the hotels.
