good but far...

the pousada is really very clean and confortable: the room booked (with patio) was fully equipped ((except the wardrobe, my room did not have it, probably beacause it had 1 queen and 1 twin bed and there wasn't enough space)., ensuite bathroom with shower. Good breakfast, kind and helpful staff. Security 24h.
The wifi is free and available wherever in the structure but the signal sometimes is too low.
Unfortunately the pousada is 500 meters from the main street and even more far from the beach.

INCREDIBLE VALUE

I live in NYC and was looking to spend a unique holiday with my loved one . We knew about Canoa through out neighbor. We stayed a Pousada Iguana and it was an amazing experience. The location was perfect , only a few minutes walk to Broadway. The place is clean, comfortable , the service is amazing and the breakfast to die for. The best value for a New Yorker like myself used to the best of the best . I would highly recommend this place.

I loved it

we wanted to explore Brazil a little bit so this time we decided to go
somewhere completely different. Friends from the area had recommended
Canoa. We heard about the beauty and we had to experience it... We
were looking for something peaceful and restful place to stay We got
it at the Pousada Iguana. The accommodations were excellent, staff were
great. The staff recommended all the great areas to visit. We were
also worried because we were traveling with our 2 year old daughter
but the hotel staff went out of their way to make her feel right at
home. They had this little barbie castle that brought out and they
allowed my daughter to play with. If you guys are reading this thank
you again you are unbelievable.and you made us feel so welcome. thank
you. If anybody is traveling to that area and want to great hotel to
stay visit the Pousada Iguana

Artistic and Mello

Pousada Iguana is THE destination in Canoa. If you are looking for a restful, beautiful environment, just a quick walk (10 mins) to Broadway, the Iguana is the place. Everything is top-notch, state-of-the-arts, high quality, from the Sat. TV, AC, to thread-count sheets, to the wonderful, fresh breakfests. The helpful and smiling employes, from the maids to the day manager, are always welcome and refreshing. The pool and outside relaxation areas make you feel extra special. Secure and tranquil, I highly recommend it.

Beautiful and Spotless.

We had a great time. Sure there's a litte walk to the shops, restaurants and beach, but it's quet and seemed BRAND NEW. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was spotless and had aircon. So nice! The price also was very reasonable. Parking inside the walls was also appreciated.
