Excellent central located hotel
Absolutely fantastic location right in the heart of Banff. Hotel has been tastefully modernised. Room for 4 was compact but big enough for our needs. Very clean and beds super comfy. Coffee lounge in the morning was a nice touch. Parking was always available and at $10 per night excellent value in busy Banff. Staff helpful and friendly. Free bear spray available to borrow. Could also borrow electric bikes but we didn't have time to do this. Only disappointing thing was the rooftop hot tubs were out of order and not fixed during our stay. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Property is lovely, unfortunately the hot tubs were closed for maintenance.
The sink was very slow draining and the toilet ran throughout our stay. Send up the plumber to room 406.

Great location, lovely staff, but a bit tired and dark
We stayed for three nights in a nice room but no overhead lighting so very dark. Furnishings a bit dated and tired but bed clean and comfortable. Fabulous location with bus stops and town centre right outside. Lovely staff, especially Anna.

Disappointing
A group of 23 arrived at this hotel yesterday. The hotel is right in the middle of the lovely town of Banff.
The room that I had was spacious and contained everything that I required for our 2 night stay.
Unfortunately at breakfast time we were put in a room with bare tables. We had to get our own cutlery, crockery and napkins.
The hot food of which there wasn’t a great selection was not hot.
I quite like a buffet breakfast but I would like the table set and coffee/ tea served.
In the afternoon after a busy morning sight seeing I decided to go to the hot tubs on floor 5 only to find that there was no water in them abd found out later they were closed for maintenance. Surely the maintenance should have been done at the beginning of the season and not near the end. So unfortunately I was very disappointed.

Comfortable hotel in the centre of Banff
Comfortable hotel in the centre of Banff. Bit tired in places and awkward to find our way around! Loved the complimentary tea and coffee in the morning and the hot tub on the roof, although only one hot tub was in use when we visited. Great location, walkable to loads of restaurants, and staff friendly and welcoming.
