We stayed for just one night. Unfortunately, we had an early morning flight and couldn't try the included breakfast. Overall, the rooms are nice, though they don't offer much of a view. A big plus is the affordable public parking located right next to the motel.

I had an amazing four-night stay at Element by Marriott Calgary Downtown, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth by the front desk staff, who made me feel comfortable and valued right away.
The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Everything—from the fresh smell throughout the hotel to the crisp, clean sheets—made it feel like a home away from home. I also felt safe and at ease during my entire stay, which made the experience even better.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding! There was a great variety of fresh and delicious food every morning, and it exceeded my expectations.
Every dollar I spent was worth it. The excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and relaxing atmosphere made this one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Calgary.

Would not recommend, would never stay here again. I booked a suite - upon arrival at 5pm (checkin was 2 hours before at 3pm) I was told to wait while they checked with house-keeping if my room was ready. I asked why it wouldn’t be ready when checkin was 2 hours ago. The concierge then asked me if I’d prefer an upgrade. I wasn’t sure what would be better than a suite but I said sure. Upon getting to my room I realize concierge had lied - this room was half the size of the one I booked and paid for (it didn’t include a couch or kitchen like I had booked). They tried to tell me it was an upgrade but had downgraded me. I immediately asked to speak to the manager. They told me no manager was available but the supervisor told me they’d have the manager contact me, and moved me to the suite I had originally paid for. Upon getting to my suite house-keeping was just leaving (so my room was not ready at all and instead of saying sorry it’s not ready yet they tried to put me in a worse room hoping I wouldn’t notice).
The next day I inquired at the front desk to speak to the manager as I still hadn’t heard from the manager. I also asked for fresh towels (they don’t bring them to your room unless you ask). Neither of those 2 things happened - no contact from the manager, no fresh towels.
The next day I checked out and the manager said no one told her I had asked to speak with her.
Staff couldn’t care less. Stay elsewhere. Way better options in the city.

The stay was comfortable and good. Only the sofa bed in the room was uncomfortable but still ok for a couple of nights.

Nice and clean room, comfortable bed, functioning AC and nice staff. This hotel pretty much had things we care about in a hotel while travelling.
