Great place to stay
The front office staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. The room was on the small side but it was super clean and I had a comfortable sleep. The rates were good. I would recommend staying here and I will stay here again.

Unsatisfied customer
I will never recommend or return to this motel. Customer service was horrible, rooms are so small that I am surprised it passes the fire code. The front door skims the end of the bed when you try to enter the room, thin walls, door seal missing around the entire door. They do not wash the glass cups or plates throughout your stay or provide the soap etc to do so. They did not clear or salt ice on any of the walkways to the rooms or shovel after a big snowfall.

I cheeked with the housekeeper he told me cleaning was done in the morning cups were washed we do not provide plates. we do housekeeping once a day. After housekeeping done if you use them we don't know. because we don't go there until next day. Any way we did that for 2nd time after you mention it. It was snowing whole day about 10 cm. We couldn't do it right away. Sorry about that.

Awful
The rates were inflated to almost double because of big valley jamboree, the room smelt awful(numerous deodorizes did not improve it, our clothing and bags even took on the smell), bathroom shower so small that an average size person would have a lot of difficulty showering, the bathroom walls dirty and the last occupants hair all over floor, bedding was clean but we had NO housekeeping for the entire time. The plus was that the air conditioning worked and seemed quiet-even though on main drag. I think it is unreasonable that rooms are rented out in that state but also that they are allowed to inflate prices because of heightened demand.

Smelly room greedy management
We were staying at the R&r inn & suites (see my review about them) but my hubby thought he wanted to leave after his business meeting and drive home. So we checked out of there. After he was finished for the day he was too tired to drive and I didn't want to drive in the dark as there was a moose I almost hit on the way in. So I suggested the Stardust motel as it was a low price and the pictures made it look ok. It also looks nice on the outside. I went to check in and stupidly asked for a corporate rate and smoking room. Was told best he could do was 70!
So we tell him were not going in the room right away as we we're going out for a bit. We came back jumped into bed but my hubby the smoker couldn't stand the smell in the room. Neither could i but i just really wanted to sleep. We left within 3 hrs of checking in and 1/2 hr of being in the room and management wouldn't give us any money back! No mess besides having to make the beds as I used the blanket off the other bed cause it was cold in the room.
The smell was a mix between moldy and smoke. Very overwhelming and stifling. Plus the control for heat didnt work. . My hubby said he was getting itchy too. Didnt see any signs of bugs but I didn't look either. Stains were also on the cloth tablecloth. So before you stay here ask to check out your room before any money changes hands. Maybe non smoking rooms are better.

Absolutely not a relaxing enjoyable place.
When u pay for a room that has a coffee maker, should it not be supplied daily? As well as shampoo & conditioner. We were not allowed to make a mess ex. Chips on the floor. I brought my own cleaner and washed walls in bathroom and room they were disgusting. The room was dirty from end to the other. They complained that we did not clean the coffeepot and our cups and kept a part of our deposit.
