Breakfast was good, very busy (Saturday morning) but the staff rushed around constantly trying to keep everything stocked up!

SPORTS TEAMS STAY AWAY!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!! especially sports teams. We had a very bad experience at this hotel when we were in Edmonton for a tournament. Front end staff are very rude if you are staying with a sports team. They take a large deposit which can only be cash or credit as they DO NOT TAKE ANY FORMS OF DEBIT. Their rooms are very damaged and old and the whole hotel smells very mildew and mouldy. The pool is like a kiddy pool which is so small no adults can fit in it. People complained of getting pink eye from the pool as it’s very dirty and murky. They have signs all over the building that if you make any noise, they will keep your damage deposit which I’m sure that that’s why they ask for such a large amount. I would never stay at this hotel again and recommend for people to look elsewhere. I wish I would’ve spent an extra a few dollars to get a decent hotel as you have many to choose from in the area. I could not wait to leave that Hotel and recommend you look elsewhere.

The bed broke as soon as we sat on them. Maintenance worker had to come and almost missed the concert we were there to attend. Also was misinformed when booking that their is no actual restaurant in the hotel which was the reason we picked it.

Good - staff was helpful and hotel was clean, everything was functioning..
Soso - hotel is outdated, no USB charging outlets, breakfast starts at 7am while many other places at 6am. We paid for breakfast but couldn't get sinse had to leave by 6:45.

The only issue we experienced was with breakfast on Saturday morning. The hotel did not seem prepared for the number of guests. There appeared to be only one person responsible for greeting guests, replenishing the food, and keeping the breakfast area clean.
As a result, the number of guests quickly overwhelmed what was available. I went to the front desk to mention the situation, and the staff member told me that there were two people working in the breakfast area and that they should be able to manage. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
We were unable to have breakfast and had to leave for our son’s competition with an improvised breakfast instead. This was particularly disappointing because breakfast was one of the reasons we chose this hotel for our stay. I hope the hotel can improve the staffing and organization during busy breakfast periods, especially on weekends.
