Very good stay

Very well placed motel with a beautiful view of the rock. Very welcome. The beds are very comfortable, we had a very good night.

Very satisfied

This is a very clean motel and has a great view , the staff was very friendly and bilingual , the beds were comfortable. the restaurant across the way , I believe by the same owner is also very charming and reasonable . We would stay here again.

ROOM NOT AS EXPECTED, NO VIEW, NO BALCONY

We were promised a room with a view and a balcony. In fact, the room had a view over other hotel and street with no real balcony, just the small porch entrance. Right away, we tried to see the reception that was locked, also, they would not answer the phone. It seemed like they were hiding... We decided not to stay there and did not touch the room. When I called weeks later to try and make arrangements, they where not open to discussion. Otherwise, the room seemed clean.

Bad Experience!

We stayed at this motel in Perce in mid July 2018. We visited the town the day before (we had reservations in Gaspé that night) for dinner and decided to book at this motel for the next night. We tried to strike a better deal to stay 2 or 3 nights but the price was firm. We decided to book for the one night and left our credit card info to secure the room so we did not have to worry the next night about when we got in. 5 pm we rolled into town and the host (an older female who had taken our reservation the day before) told us that there were no rooms left. We explained that we had a reservation secured with a credit card and she had even pointed out our room we would have. We noted that she had even written the info down with our credit card number. She stated that there was one room up stairs left but that would be $20 more, we looked at the room and decided to take it but thought we should get the room for the price given to us the day before. We were then told that someone from the info centre had called the room was probably not available anyways. This left us high and dry. I then noticed my name in her book with my card number beside it and pointed it out to her that we had secured a room. Having pointed this out she stated that she had already given our room away but the one next door to it was available. She still wanted $20 more for the room as it had newer wall paper she stated.
I know this is the height of the vacation season for them but I have an issue with being ripped off. Although it was only $20, this was very poor customer service, bordering on fraudulent service. This left us with a bad felling in Perce but I am happy to report I had great service everywhere else we staying in Perce! Those reviews are to come shortly.
