Wonderful staff and location

This motel is very funky yet fun and eclectic in their offerings. Rooms are very comfortable with good linens. Yes, this is a budget motel that won’t have the luxury amenities, but what it does have is a very veteran staff who work tirelessly to make sure that your stay is a good one. I’ve seen them work double time to accommodate requests and they are extremely responsive. The location is very local to attractions but is also removed enough from cruise ships and crowds. Another plus is the attached pub open on certain nights.

Avoid it, spend a few bucks and stay elsewhere

1 night stay between the train and the ferry. The 2 double bed room was basic and old-fashioned. Furniture and lighting were ancient and rough around the edges, likely dating back to the 70s. Stains and patch jobs throughout the room and bathroom. The bathroom ceiling had mold spots. Windows open but there is no screen. Staff were friendly. I wouldn’t stay again, I found it disappointing and uncomfortable.

The gentleman at the front desk had us checked in quickly as we arrived at 1:00 am from the Northern Expidition Ferry, we were very appreciative! Rooms are older but the beds are clean and comfortable. Parking is ample, no issues.

We stayed 3 nights, so it would have been nice if we were told there was free breakfast. There wasn't a microwave in the room which would have been nice. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Spacious comfortable room at a reasonable price. Near a supermarket and the airport/ferry shuttle stop. Continental breakfast was very basic - essentially waffles, cereal and beverage, but it is included in the room charge.
